Coming up on May 21-22 is the South Olympic Peninsula Outdoor Recreation and Adventure Expo being held in Elma at the fair grounds. H.A.O.S. will have a booth along with the Ocean Shores Chamber and hopefully the Ocean Shores Interpretive Center. All paid members are welcome to submit brochures to display. Volunteers are needed to man the booth Saturday and Sunday with set up on Friday the 20th. We will be running 3 and 4 hour shifts. To offer your help please contact David at the Grey Gull 289-3381 or the chamber office 289-2451. Lets all work together to build a better tomorrow.

From the Site Administration you can Add Events, Make Posts, and Post comments. Generally comments are not public and as such will not be viewed on the blog. They will be sent to RSS Feed subscribers so please be aware of that. When you add a new post it gets published on this page. Let me know if you have any questions…! Thanks…!

By entering the search word “employment” in the search box you will see a full list of current resumes that have been submitted for consideration… Currently, while we have no resumes I have posted a few samples for demonstration. They are listed as private so you will only be able to access them if you are registered…

Thank you for visiting our blog. This blog will be restricted to HAOS Members who sign up so click the Register link in the right hand column and sign up today. Once you’ve signed up you will be given administrative access which will give the privileges to post articles, add events, and the resumes submitted by the public. While some files will remain viewable to the public such as the events, other files that contain compromising our personal data, such as submitted resumes, will be private and viewable or only to our members. Please keep in mind that I can take up to several hours for the administrative access to be granted. You’ll be notified once your membership has been changed from general to administrative.

Another nice feature of our blog is that it is very expandable and can be personalized to our organization’s needs. We look forward to receiving your feedback and will do everything possible to accommodate your suggestions.

In the upper right hand corner you will notice in orange icon that represents RSS feeds. If you choose to sign up for the RSS feed you will have recent posts as well as resumes submitted by the public emailed directly to your box, or alternately, your RSS reader.

This is the HAOS Online Blog. While it will be possible to have a blog for your public pages as well as this one it is anticipated that this blog will be used by members only. As we develop the site we will be adding new categories and pages to help you keep in touch with your business community and the other members of the organization.

While the blog is fairly easy to use there is somewhat of a learning curve so please be patient. In no time we will be discovering this is a wonderful venue for keeping in touch. I look forward to hearing your feedback.
